The Third Floor was incubated on the third floor of George Lucas’s famous Luke Skywalker Ranch, thus the name. They are the world’s preeminent previsualization company. Their feature film credits include The Martian, Star Wars, and Avatar to name a few.
Headquartered in Los Angeles and London, they work closely with directors, producers, and visual effects supervisors to help map out the creative storytelling of productions around the world. Bursting at the seams at an old Deco Mid-Wilshire building, they just moved in to their new 18,000sf digs in Wilshire Courtyard. The café and billiard area serves up IPA on tap and boasts sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills.
